What a Week!

We have had a busy week. This past weekend we went to the mountains and enjoyed a relaxing vacation with our friends. We shared meals, played cards, and went sledding. Actually, Ash and Lil had more fun rolling down the hill than using the "boat" as Ry calls it. This weekend was the break we needed from the stress at the house.

Monday was Dad's 33rd birthday so the kiddos and I made him a chocolate cake with chocolate icing without opening a box. Yes, we mixed flour, eggs, and sugar and made it ourselves. Dad was excited to have the special dessert and his favorite dinner of lasagna. Yum, yum!

Susan turned 7 months on Dad's birthday and decided to finally show us the tooth she has been working on for months now. You can feel it and see it at gum line but the drooling hasn't slowed down yet.

Speaking of teeth, we all had our dentist appointments today and Dr. Donovan said we all passed with balloon animals (he is the only dentist I know who makes balloon animals for patients). Ash's tooth is still loose on the bottom and his lone top tooth is a tad loose as well. Dr. Donovan is perplexed as to why Lilly has her 6 year molars already. Ashton's are just beginning to come in. Hmmm....

Rylan had a great speech appointment today and is talking with multiple syllables and words. It is so great to hear him talking again. He must lose words when he is about to have a huge growth of vocabulary.

Dad still has a job, which is nice, and we can still make the mortgage. Mom is working on her new website which is exciting. I will fill you in on the details later.
