Baptism

We had Frankie Baptized Easter Sunday. It was a nice, short service with lots of family. The family in the pews were waiting for him to be named Frankbob but we went with the first and middle name instead. Frankie did a great job and did not cry. A was worried he would cry and after we walked in and Frankie was anointed with the oil, A asked if he cried when they poured the water on his head. I told him they would do that later but he did not cry with the oils. A said that the water must be warm so he wouldn't cry. He is always thinking. Frankie actually only squirmed a bit as the water was poured on his head later in the mass because it was waking him up.

After a ton of picture taking we headed back to the house for an all day brunch. We had a small egg hunt for the children. We asked the Easter bunny to bring eggs outside on the new grass but the weather did not cooperate so we hid some inside away from the cold and snow. Besides those who shuttled to the airport throughout the day, the party ended at 7:30 PM after a few rounds of cards.
