Frankie's two week check up

As some of you know, Frankbob was born March 15th weighing 8 lbs 14 oz. He dropped down to 8 lbs 6.6 oz by the time we came home but was back up to 8 lbs 9.5 oz for his 4 day check.

I was very shocked to see the scale register 9 lbs 11 oz for his two week visit. What a chunker! Everything else looked great as well.

Since we were already at the doctor's office, L got her second polio vaccine. She took it like a champ. Since I was holding Frankbob, the nurse asked L to sit on the chair and hold her pant leg up. L put both hands on her pants and hiked up the leg. She asked the nurse if she was going to "poke" her. The reply was yes but it included the view of a super cute band aid (L loves band aids) so L didn't freak out. She sat there while the needle was inserted, stared at it and teared up. Her cute bottom lip actually stuck out a bit as she tried not to cry. Once the nurse was done, L asked for the band aid and a sticker from the basket. She told us all that she is a big girl and was O.K. I about cried with what a good job she did!

Frankbob's next appointment will be his 2 month, which falls on A's 4 year appt time and L's final Polio vaccine appt so that should be a fun, productive visit.
