soon to be five, children that is!

Little L had her allergy test this morning. The doctor was very nice and L really liked her. The nurse tickled L while putting the dots on her back and made a game out of it so when she pricked her with the allergens L giggled and made a cute little lip bubble popping sound.

After twenty minutes we learned that she is not allergic to anything. The Doctor said that it is not the perfect test for fresh fruits and veggies and recommended that we still avoid what we avoid until she turns three and then to reintroduce them in a food study just in case she reacts. She also asked that we keep a detailed food diary of everything, and she emphasized everything, that she eats for a month and then come back for a recheck. If she still has her little waking fits at night and random spit-ups we should take her to our regular Doctor to test for digestive issues, which could be what is bothering her.

Little L did a wonderful job and impressed the whole office, and the people in the waiting room, with how well she put up with the test. It is a relief to know that she is not allergic to anything but also bothersome that we can't find a reason for her actions.
