We have a name...

As you all know the three year old runs the family so it is only appropriate that we name the new baby according to A's suggestion.

A couple months ago I asked A what we should name the new baby, which he thinks is a boy. He told me that Daddy only taught him two names, Bob and Frank so we should use those. I explained that we already have an Uncle Bob so we can't use that name. He replied that we should just use Frankbob.

The other night at dinner we were once again discussing names and A made it clear that the new name should be Frankbob. Daddy was drawing the children's names on paper airplanes, L's was pink, A's was blue, and Frankbob's was green. I brought up that if the baby is a girl, Frankbob would not be appropriate and we should use Frankbillie instead. A wrinkled his little eyebrows at me and said that Frankbillie was not the name, the baby is Frankbob!

His baby naming continued this past weekend. We visited our new little cousin and when A was asked what the baby's name was he said Frankbob. Then we rephrased the question and asked what his baby cousin's name was and he responded correctly. He realizes that all babies are not Frankbob, only ours.
